Young Faculty Talks


We are excited to invite submissions for the Young Faculty Talk, one of the most anticipated events of EMCON 2025 designed to spotlight emerging voices in Emergency Medicine.

Conference dates: Nov 1-3, 2025
Time: 8am to 8.50am
Format: 10-minute talk
Reporting Time for Contestants: 7:30am

This is your chance to inspire, educate, and engage with a vibrant audience of peers, mentors, and leaders in the field. Whether you’re sharing research, a unique clinical insight, or a compelling case, this is your platform to shine.

Clarity | Depth | Originality | Structure | Time Management | Media Usage | Engagement | Relevance of Responses

Process

All applicants will be initially screened for eligibility by their CVs, proposal forms and a video assessment. Finalists will get to deliver their lectures live (F2F) to a panel of judges, on the morning of the conference day, prior to the scientific sessions. All young faculty speakers will be judged on their presentation topic, slide content, delivery of lecture, emphasis of learning points, language, and leadership skills. A score will be allocated to each speaker and a ranking list generated.

Certification:

All applicants will get a certificate of participation. The top three speakers will get EMCON certificate of recognition, a gift and will be considered for delivering a lecture at next EMCON Conference.

Eligibility:

Doctors

Must be a resident/trainee/doctor actively working in emergency medicine or emergency care department.
Must not have delivered any type of lecture in any conference before. Research presentations are an exception.

Nurses

Must be a nurse actively working in emergency medicine or emergency care department.
Must not have delivered any type of lecture in any conference before. Research presentations are an exception.

Paramedics

Must be an ED paramedic actively working in emergency medicine or emergency care department’s ambulance at any hospital.
Must not have delivered any type of lecture in any conference before. Research presentations are an exception.

How to apply:

  • Share your file via the submission portal.
  • You will be able to track the status of your submission on the portal.
  • All finalists will have to register for the conference as a delegate.
